Lord Warden

Updated: 18-12-2013

Impressed by the performance of the Dover and the Calais the LCDR were quick to order a third ship. Named Lord Warden she took up service in December 1896.  Like many of her consorts she was rendered redundant by the development of the turbine steamer and was sold for scrap in 1911.
