Second of three vessels built by Laird Brothers of Birkenhead, Antelope served on the Weymouth - Channel Islands service alongside her sisters Lynx and Gazelle. After a period on a new but uneconomic service between Weymouth and Brest she was sold in 1913 to a Greek company for service in the Mediterranean as the Atromitos. She was finally sold for scrap in Italy in 1933.
